The government decided not to seek a court review on the behaviour of the Legislative Council in the event of expanding the landfill in Tseung Kwan O.

From my point of view, the decision of the government is not for sake of keeping a good relationship with the Legislative Council. Justice review is an important tool to clear the confusions of laws. If the government seeks a court review and wins the case, the Legislative Council cannot do such things again. That is to say, the power of Chef Executive, the head fo the government,  will be stronger than he has now if the government wins the review. I cannot believe that the government, which usually has a bad relationship  with the Council, gives up this valuable opportunity just because she wants to keep a good relationship with the Council.

I think that the most possible reason for the government decision is the government is unsure that she can win the case. If the government loses the case, the Council after that can undo orders from the chief executive, which will discrease the government power.

Today the weather is chilly, and I have nothing to do.
Therefore, I watched the movie version of Christmas Coral, a very famous story in western countries.
Actually, I knew this story in my secondary school period. It seemed that I had a book about it.
But, I did not know the whole story all along because I did not like reading English books and western stories.
In past few days, I downloaded the newest movie version of it in order to learn more English words and to find something to watch in this boring holiday.

From my point of view, it is a meaningful and interesting story. It is extremely suitable for watching it in Christmas. I think that is why it is a classical story about Christmas.

However, I have a question after watching it. I cannot know whether it is a cartoon film. It is produced by Disneyland, and its scenes are like cartoon films but the characters seemingly are played by real people.

I start to write diaries again because I have so much leisure during this holiday.
I am so sad now since I found that my cuhk mail break down.
I do not know why it always told me that I have too many mails in my mailbox.
Actually, I had already deleted many.
The most important point is that I cannot accept new mails sent by anyone, even the department while my mailbox is full.
It is shocking. Without receiving department's mail, I feel that I cannot know information about course selection and add/drop.
Now I have called the technologicalm department. I hope that it can give me an solution.

Yesterday I had a gathering with my o campmate.
Originally I didn't want to accept the invitation, but they asked me face to face, which is difficult for me to refuse them.
In addition, they decide to have a dinner in a Korean barbecue restaurant, which is in Mongkok.
So, I promise that I would go.
However, once again, I make a wrong decision.
The dinner was too expensive because we had to pay the expenses of other two friends, who birth in this month.
Each of us needed to pay about two hundreds dollars while I don't really satisfied with the restaurant's food.

Another reason for me to go to this gathering is that I need to know other classmates' gossips.
Nevertheless, I am wrong again because I don't know people they took about, and I even don't know if they are in my department.
MaybeI have already missed too many gossips, and it seems that I cannot catch up again.
Above all, my conclusion is that I will not take part in their gathering again.
I prefer to save my money in order to buy an iPod Touch.=-=

Japan, which is a mysterious country, is my study topic in this semster.
When I studied Japan in secondary school, my history teacher just teached the history from Tokugawa shogunate to Japan before 1945.

Now I have to learn the history of traditional Japan.
It's a strange topic to me because I don't know anything about traditional Japan other than sushi.

So, why do I register this course that I do not familiar with?
Someone may say that I take it for fun or for curiosity.
But my good friends all know that now everything I do is for improving English=c=
For achieving this goal, I don't care to study any kinds of history.

By the way, I like the teacher of this course although I do not have a great interest in it.
My teacher is a Japanese woman, who is married with a non-Japanese.
From my point of view, she is not a extremely beautiful woman, but she is elegant and has a sweet smile, which makes me like her.
Unfortunicately, the elegant woman believes in examination, so she will give us a mid-term test and examination.
That means I cannot run away in her lesson ...

I have to go back school in this week, and this make me nervious.
I did not do any revision and read any book about history in the whole holiday.
I do not want to blame myself for this because it is my character.
That is why I am afraid of coming back the university again.
I am not a person who indulge in history. I cannot study history all day.
So, I am lazy and not bright when compared to some of my classmates.
They are addicted to study history and regard history as a huge part of their life, which I cannot do.
I lack confidence for I get the conclusion.
That is why I am not sure that if I can do a good job in this semester.

Today, I found that I have not cleaned my bedroom for a long time, so it is extremely dirty now.
When I called Kary today, she told me that she was cleaning her bedroom again=-=
She made me ashamed. Therefore, I decide to clear up my bedroom tomorrow.
And actually, I have another reason for cleaning my bedroom.
I want to buy a laptop at the computer festival which will open at the next week, so I need to arrange a space in my bedroom to it .
When it comes to where I want to put down my computer, it is a great difficulty because I have to consider many things, say, the state of power point and plug, the light, the sitting place, etc.
Now, I am very thrilled when I think that I can have a laptop in the next week.
I really hope that I can find a notebook with a reasonable price and suitable fuctions because I do not want to buy a HP laptop in the CUHK.

I saw this news today.
In my mind, Japan is a country with most nationalist, and Japanese are proud of their culture and language.
That is why people say that you cannot do anything in Japan if you do not know Japanese.
But now, Japanese need to change with the aim of saving their economy.
When I saw this news, I , in fact, feel happy.
Why? It's because I don't plan for learning Japanese, which means that I cannot go to Japan alone now.
If the majority of Japanese can understand English, this problem will be solved easily^^
I concede that my thinking is shallow. However, I believe that many people have the same idea like me.
